The Parish Council have heard of a proposal to build a 49.9MW Solar farm to the north and east of the Bradford Abbas. The Parish Council have not formally been notified of the proposed development. The proposals can be viewed at the web site below:

Public Consultation
As part of their consultation, they will hold two in-person consultation events.
13.00-18.00, 2nd September 2024 at the Yeovil Golf Club, BA21 5BW
16.00-19.00, 16th September 2024 at the Bradford Abbas Village Hall DT9 6RF
The consultation period will close on the 23rd September 2024, after which they will review comments made, and incorporate feedback into their final application.
